Specialising in Iberian and Latin-American repertoire, Deco Ensemble’s adventurous programme displays extraordinary breadth and creativity. On this occasion, the ensemble will perform contemporary tango music and songs written by the likes of Gustavo Beytelmann and Astor Piazzolla, along with pieces featured on their newly-realesed album ‘Encuentro’.
The Deco Ensemble has toured Europe extensively. Highlights from last season included sold-out performances in London, Manchester, Glasgow, Brighton, York, Bristol, Brussels, Bratislava, Strasbourg, Rome and Poland, including appearances at Wigmore Hall, Colston Hall, Norfolk and Norwich festival. Next season’s engagements include recitals at the Purcell Room, Royal Albert Hall, the Harwich and Oundle Festivals, and are taking the ensemble as far as Azerbaijan.
