DESCRIPTION:A musical tribute to the Spanish composer Manuel de Falla on the 150th anniversary of his birth\, kindly supported by the Instituto Cervantes. \nCurated by Ricardo Gosalbo\, the program features vocal works by Falla himself\, as well as pieces by other contemporary composers and writers who were part of his close circle of friends\, collaborators\, teachers\, and students. These include Rafael Alberti\, Claude Debussy\, Federico García Lorca\, Carlos Guastavino\, Rodolfo Halffter\, María de la O Lejárraga\, Frederic Mompou\, Xavier Montsalvatge\, Francis Poulenc\, Maurice Ravel\, Joaquín Turina\, and Rogelio Villar.
